While we’ll be sad to see this year’s harvest season come to an end, we also want to start the Summer off with a bang! Delight your palette with our South Florida Farms last pickings and pair them with a few with local delicacies. The event, dubbed Season-End Soiree will feature a wide selection of hand-crafted, harvest-inspired gourmet canapés accompanied by cocktails, beer and wine.
We started our season on November 6, 2013 with complimentary weekly tours and tastings of Essensia’s Organic Garden; harvesting many of the specialty ingredients in our herb garden dedicated to Essensia’s kitchen and cocktail ingredients. Some include tomatoes, lemongrass, Cuban oregano, kale, arugula, mustard greens, edible flowers, and much more. Through the complimentary weekly garden tour and tasting, Chef Julie was able to connect with guests and enhance their experience through food. Some attendees even picked up a few tips and techniques on cooking, growing, gardening, and whole living.
Now, as the season winds down and comes to an end, we invite you, our loyal followers to join us this Wednesday June 4 for our Season-End Soiree celebrating the conclusion of our third-ever garden season. The event wouldn’t be complete without our favorite farms including Paradise Farms, Swank Farms, Teena’s Pride, Essensia’s Organic Chef’s Garden plus local artisanal sausages from Proper Sausage. Paired with indulgent libations and superb conversation all in support of the Slow Food mission and you have one fabulous party! So go ahead, let your foodie senses fly one last time, we promise to make it worth your while.
