Starting July 14, Essensia Restaurant launches a new brunch menu featuring a variety of sharing plates, soups & salads, sandwiches & burgers, cocktails, fresh pressed juices, smoothies and desserts. Following the restaurant’s farm-to-table philosophy, Essensia’s culinary team has created an extensive a la cart menu of globally inspired dishes that are healthy, creative, and flavorful.
The menu offers Small & Large Shares featuring an eclectic selection of plates intended for sharing. Small Share standouts include California Scramble featuring three egg scramble with green onion, grilled peppers, Fresh Tomato, Feta Cheese and Cilantro topped with Fresh Avocado, Salsa and Tortilla Crisps; Baked Eggs “Dip” featuring two Eggs, Sautéed Spinach, Roasted Tomato and Fontina Cheese oven baked to perfection and served with warm Country Bread; Grilled Italian Sausage Link featuring Local “Proper Sausage”, Polenta and Red Pepper-Currant Chutney; and French Toast Bread Pudding featuring Croissant French Toast Squares, Pure Maple Syrup and Fresh Berries. Large Shares highlights include Oven Baked Crab Fritatta featuring Crab, Asparagus, Leek, Goat Cheese and Basil Pesto; Whole Grain and Coconut Waffle served with Greek Yogurt, Fresh Strawberries, Basil and Lavender Honey; Lemon Poppyseed Quinoa Pancakes served with Ricotta, Blueberries, Mint and Pure Maple Syrup; Three different Benedicts to pick from including Short Rib Eggs Benedict, Crab Eggs Benedict and the Traditional; Proper Sausage, Gigante Bean, Roasted Tomato Ragout featuring a Poached Egg, Shaved Parmesan and Fresh Herbs; and Steak and Eggs featuring Marinated Tri Tip Steak, Eggs prepared to your specifications served with Herb Roasted Potatoes.
Brunch goers can also select from the menu’s Soups & Salads, Sandwiches & Burgers, and Odds & Ends featuring a collection of Essensia’s signature dishes including Watermelon Gazpacho, Kale “Caesar” Salad, Summer Quinoa Salad, Thai Glass Noodle Salad, Mamey “Caprese” Salad, Brunch Burger, Crab Melt Panini, Mahi Sandwich, Corn Bread, Muesli with Yogurt, and Mango Mint Salad. Desserts feature Key West in a Jar, Chocolate Layer Cake and Essensia’s Homemade Ice Cream & Sorbets. It would not be Brunch without bottomless Mimosas ($25)! In addition, brunch goers can select from Essensia’s specialty Cocktails, Smoothies and Fresh Pressed Juices.
Brunch is served every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and prices range from $8 to $24. The Two Person Sharing Combo is $39++ per person and offers your choice of 2 Small Shares, 1 Large Share, 1 Soup or Salad and a Mimosa or Bellini.
