Chef’s Organic Garden Tour & Tasting

Starting April 18, join Chef Julie Frans for a private tour and tasting of The Chef’s Organic Garden at The Palms Hotel & Spa. Hosted every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., guests are welcome to attend the tour, which will commence in the sandy area in front of the garden’s entrance. Chef Julie will identify the organic produce, herbs and greens in the garden and prepare tasting utilizing ingredients from the garden.

Currently, the garden features three different types of basil, cilantro, thyme, parsley, sage, chives, collards, kale, radish eggplant, peppers, celery, carrots, pea tendrils, and black eyed peas. Ingredients are picked daily and used in our delicious Essensia recipes including our local burrata and heirloom tomato salad with homegrown basil, SOBE ceviche with backyard cilantro, brussels sprouts with sage and shiitakes. The herbs and produce grown will change from time to time according to the seasons.

Through the complimentary weekly garden tour and tasting, Chef Julie hopes to connect with guests in an effort to enhance their overall experience with food and life. You might even pick up a few tips and techniques on cooking, growing, gardening, and whole living. For more information, please call Essensia at 305.9085458.
